Association of Filmmakers in BiH is one of the partners of this year's Trieste Film Festival market When East Meets West. The Market opens on January 21st and will last for three days, and it has special focus on Scandinavian countries and the countries of South East Europe, including Bosnia and Herzegovina with the Association of Filmmakers.
The Bosnian and Herzegovinian delegation in front of the Association is led by the president of the board director and screenwriter Ines Tanović, who is preparing her second feature film SON, head of program Elma Tataragić, the selector of Sarajevo Film Festival and screenwriter who will be in Trieste also as a tutor at the Midpoint screenplay workshop and program coordinator Melina Alagić. Bosnian and Herzegovinian producers who will also attend this program are Alem Babić (Dokument from Sarajevo), Amra Bakšić Čamo (SCCA / Pro.ba from Sarajevo), Damir Ibrahimović (Deblokada from Sarajevo), Tomislav Topić (Kadar from Široki Brijeg), Zoran Galić (Vizart from Banja Luka ), who is also Creative Europe representative for BiH, and director and producer Srđan Šarenac (Novi Film from Sarajevo), who will present his new documentary project in the official Market program.
Association of Filmmakers in BiH with this program continues the promotion of BH film abroad, and this project was supported by Sarajevo Film Fund.
Also, Market will present film projects with special focus on cinematography of SouthEast Europe and Scandinavia.
