Student Competition at BH Film Program begins today!

The day begins at 12:30 in CInema 5 of Multiplex Cinema City with the world premiere of ecological documentary WRONG WAY by Nisvet Hrustić. PLAY HIDE AND SEEK by Feđa Ibrišimović, an intimite story about a couple who is trying to conceive a baby will be screened right after it.

We will continue the third day by screening fourth slot of documentary films at 14:45 in Cinema 4 of Multiplex Cinema City. The first film to be screened will be TWO SCHOOLS by Srđan Šarenac, a story of once famous Travnik Gymnasium that works under the “two schools under the one roof” principle these days. THE LAST BULLOCKIES by Novak Knežević about one of the most difficult jobs carried out by humans and bulls – pulling logs from the woods from inaccessible terrains will be screened as a second film in the slot.

Student Competition begins today at 15:00 in House of Shorts in Art Cinema Kriterion. First film to be screened will be CLEAN by Neven Samardžić, a story of Fudo who decides to get clean after his friends dies of overdose.

WINTER SUN by Pilar Palomero about Nana and Dedo who must live with their family in Sarajevo while waiting for Nana’s operation is the second student film we will have opportunity to see today.

At 16:45 in Cinema 4 of Multiplex Cinema City the world premiere of SARAJEVO SONGS OF WOE by Fred Kelemen will take place. The filmic triptych made of “Blue Ballad for Lovers”, “Blue Psalm for Wolves” and “Blue Rondo for Survivors” flows into one universal mosaic of life situated in the town of Sarajevo.

In Cinema 4 of Multiplex Cinema City at 20:00 you can watch regional premiere of 3 WOMEN OR (WAKING UP FROM MY BOSNIAN DREAM) by Sergio Flores Thori, a film about three women from different backgrounds living in Sarajevo at the same time.

We finish the third day of BH Film Program with a documentary OUT OF DARKNESS. CITIES AFTER WAR by Francesc Relea, a story that maps out the soul of four cities whose names conjure up the idea of destruction and pain from the decade of the nineties: Sarajevo, Beirut, Kigali and Medellín.
