BOŠKO KOSANOVIĆ

Born in 1913 in Bosanski Petrovac, Bosnia-Herzegovina. He completed high school education in Banja Luka and graduated from the University of Belgrade. He was the first feature film director in Bosnia-Herzegovina. After directing the short spy-action film ON THE BORDER (1951), he directed two feature-length fiction films, namely: THE HOUSE ON THE COAST (1954) and CLIFF (1955). His 1957 feature film SMALL THINGS focused on the problem of marital estrangement. In later years of his career he focused on documentary and promotional films. He died in 1974 in Belgrade.
