OTHER COLLABORATIONS

The Association of Filmmakers is actively working on the presentation and promotion of Bosnian-Herzegovinian cinema and its authors, and participates in the organization of BH film promotions and BH film days in different countries around the world.

Some of the projects in which the Association of Filmmakers has participated in the past two years are:

PRESENTATION OF CONTEMPORARY BOSNIAN AND HERZEGOVINIAN SHORT FILMS AT ZAGREB FILM FESTIVAL

In 2016 Zagreb Film Festival with the support of the Association od Filmmakers and Sarajevo Film Festival organized a presentation of contemporary Bosnian and Herzegovinian short films. The festival screened 5 short films produced in 2015 and 2016: INVERZUM by Damir Bašić, JUST ANOTHER DAY by Tina Šmalcelj, BLOSSOM by Tarik Hodžić, RED SNOW by Mersiha Husagić and FRONTIER, BLOODY FRONTIER by Saša Karanović, while the film I REMEMBER by Elma Tataragić was presented in Competition Program of this festival.

In 2017 the Festival screened: THE DRAGON by Ivan Ramadan, LEJLA by Stijin Bouma, SERVING GOD by Inga Kukobat, CLEAN by Neven Samardžić and GAME by Senad Alihodžić. Competition program presented the film INVISIBLE by Amra Mehić.

 Same presentation will be organized this year with films: SELF RESLECTION IN THREE EPISODES by Sara Ristić, PRECIOUS by Irfan Avdić, ROOSTER by Sabrina Begović Ćorić, PINK ELEPHANT by Ado Hasanović and INTERVIEW by Nermin Hamzagić. Film BREATH by Ermin Bravo will be presented in this year's Competition program. 

BH. FILM FESTIVAL IN NEW YORK

After a positive experience from 2015, Association of Filmmakers continued cooperation with Academy of Bosnia and Herzegovina Inc. (ABH) in New Yorku in organizing the BH Film Festival in New York. Association helps in organizing and financing Bosnian and Herzegovinian authors who have their films in BHFF program to attend the Festival and present their films to the NYC audiences, but also it helps organize master classes and panels during the Festival.

INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM DAY

Association of Filmmakers in BiH in collaboration with Meeting Point Cinema every year marks the International Short Film Day on December 21st, presenting the most recent short film production of Bosnian and Herzegovinian.
