European Film Promotion (EFP) and the Arab Cinema Center (ACC) have revealed the film selections list of 25 films from different European countries. These films are currently being viewed by 85 film critics from across 15 Arab countries to select the best European film out of the entries submitted by the national film promotion institutes from all over Europe. 
Association of Filmmakers has nominated EXCURSION by Una Gunjak to represent Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This program is organized in parthnership with Arab Cinema Center and Cairo International Film Festival. Since the Cairo International Film Festival as hitherto host of the award ceremony has been postponed indefinitely, the official announcement of the winning film will be re-considered.
