Synopsis:

Every year, the publishing company Veselin Masleša organizes a competition for school essays about the books from its Swallow Edition. Competition winners are awarded with a free summer holiday in the summer camp Swallow in Split. Talented boys and girls from around Yugoslavia spend their summer holidays in the camp. The film follows them as they go about their daily activities in the camp, walk through Split and learn about life in a seaside town.  The children’s literature writers visit the Swallow camp.
