Synopsis:

A short trip through Casablanca, a city on the edge of the African continent, where old mixes with new and beautiful with ugly. One part of the city is reserved for the African quarter which has not changed for centuries, while the other resembles a modern, European metropolis. Similar contrasts are found in different traditions, costumes, trade practices and interactions of the city’s different people. In Casablanca, Orient confronts the European influences.
