Synopsis:
Documentary film about the construction of a railway line between the towns of Doboj and Banja Luka in Bosnia-Herzegovina. At the invitation of Yugoslav youth, youngsters from around the world had arrived in Bosnia-Herzegovina to help build the railway line. Camera follows the arrival from Stockholm of Swedish student Sven Anderson and his friends. As they work to build the railway line, freedom-loving youngsters from around the world form friendship and engage in spontaneous displays of solidarity. After two months of hard work, the youngsters board a steam train that takes them on a trip through beautiful Bosnian countryside. With them, they carry the lasting memories of hard but rewarding work, their meeting with Tito and the pioneers from Krajina, and friendships that will last them for life.
