Synopsis:
A foreigner by the name of Higins visits a hunting range with his wife Keti. The gamekeeper suspects that the man might be the German who had killed his father during the war. The German was killing his victims for a bet. To win the bet, he had to kill his victims while they were on the move by shooting them straight to the head rather than to the chest. Gamekeeper Marko has his suspicions about Higins while his uncle is convinced that Higins is his brother’s killer. As indications of his guilt accumulate, Higins reveals himself as a man who is cruel to his wife. Marko is increasingly certain that Higins is the criminal who had returned to the site of his crime. The film is intercut with flashbacks to the war and Marko’s memories of his family’s tragic destiny.
