Synopsis:

Azra, a woman who fought the Germans in World War II, has difficulty accepting the new, post-war social norms. She went to war to fight for a better world, but she is shocked to find out that the changes the war brought about are in conflict with the core values instilled in her by her urban, Muslim family. The self-contained nature of her inner world will make her a tragic figure - a woman who is unable to accept that her great expectations were awarded with a society that is tearing itself apart.
