Based on one of the greatest Yugoslav war novels and set in 1941 Bosnia, in the early days of the popular uprising against the Nazis, the film tells the story of an ideological divide between the partisan revolutionaries and residents of the remote village of Vučevo who mistrust everything and everyone outside their realm.
