Synopsis:

TODAY IS 11TH JUNE 1993  was developed on the basis of an intense engagement with Nihad Kreševljaković and the Library Hamdija Kreševljaković Video Arhiv in Sarajevo, a private collection of amateur videos, in which the inhabitants of Sarajevo documented their lives during the siege. In this collection, Thieme found a science-fiction short film in which a group of young people with a lot of black humor imagines the escape from the enclosed city with a time machine.  TODAY IS 11TH JUNE 1993 is part of the initiative IZMEĐU NAS I BETWEEN US by Nihad Kreševljaković, Jasmina Gavrankapetanović and Clarissa Thieme.
