Synopsis:

This documentary is shot in besieged and shelled Sarajevo in the summer 1992. EIGHT YEARS LATER is nostalgic memory of the 14th Winter Olympic Games held in Sarajevo in 1984, which were at the same time the victory of Olympic spirit over the brutal force and destruction. All sport facilities in the city are destroyed, being attacked from surrounding mountains where once athletes from all over the world had competed. Accompanied with sounds of Olympic anthem, pleasant memories of "Sarajevo's winter fairytale" are mixed with bitter images of an apocalyptic present: only eight years later. A famous basketball player of Sarajevo's "Bosna" and Madrid's "Real" and Golden Olympic medal bearer, Mirza Delibašić, gave an introduction word for this film. As an integral part of the film is also a music video clip "Help Bosnia" shot in completely damaged Olympic sport hall Zetra.
