Synopsis:

MONA LISA FROM SARAJEVO is the author film in the full meaning of the word. The film director was caught in the besieged city, in the city where he lives, in the city he loves. He takes his camera and films the world around him. Bato Čengić knows that cruelity of Sarajevo's reality speaks for itself, so he only makes a precise selection of pictures and events that fit into his film. The result is a very personal film about besieged Sarajevo.
