Synopsis:

Scores of women stripped of the rights that should come with employment work as waitresses in small, privately-owned roadside bars throughout the country. They work long hours, but are not entitled to pension or health insurance. Their job is to make customers feel comfortable and entertained. Some even engage in prostitution and many are underage.
