MIRSAD ĆATIĆ was born in 1957 in Vrnograč. He started his film career as an actor in Lukas Sturm's film BODY COMPLETE and continued as screenwriter and producer of feature film JA SAM IZ KRAJINE, ZEMLJE KESTENA directed by Jasmin Duraković.
