Association of Filmmakers of Bosnia and Herzegovina in collaboration with Sarajevo Film Festival annually organizes Film programme of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 11 to 16 August. Part of this section is the student program which this year brings 17 student films from BiH film schools and academies.

The Jury of the Student Competition consists of Nedžad Begović, film director, Aleta Rajič, animator and costume designer Lejla Graho while the films are competing for:
1. Best Student Film Award
2. Special Jury Prize, and
3. Special Mention.

This year there will also be an additional award sponsored by KisaKes Short Film Festival that will award one of BH student selection director's upcoming short film project directly as a finalist for KisaKes pitching platform in Istanbul. 

The films will be screened in Kriterion Cinema from 13th to 15th August. This section has in the past years become the major meeting place of the film schools from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
