25-27 March Marwah film Studio in New Delhi, Film City Noida held retrospective of Bosnian films with participation of our renowned authors and professors on the Academy of Performing Arts, Aida Begić Zubčević and Faruk Lončarević. They have presented their own films and held short workshops about aesthetics and industry of contemporary BH cinema.

The event was organized by Noida Film City and Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in India with support of Turkish Airlines and under patronage of Mr. Sandeep Marwah, one of the most prominent film entrepreneurs and producers in India and HE Muhamed Čengić, ambassador of BH in India.

Besides screening of six Bosnian films during these three days: VALTER DEFENDS SARAJEVO, PERFECT CIRCLE, AN EPISODE IN THE LIFE OF AN IRON PICKER, FUSE, NEVER LEAVE ME and WITH MOM, our authors had an opportunity to encounter students from Asian Academy of Film and Video.

They have also met with some of the most successful Indian producers who expressed their desire to make some of the 2000 long fiction features, that India makes every year, in Bosnia and not just in Georgia, Hungary or Czech Republic, that have seen blooming of their industry thanks to tax return laws, that Bosnia and Herzegovina still has to adopt.
