BH. Film will be presented at the 71nd edition of the Cannes Film Festival, which will take place from 8th to 19th May 2018. The main competition program will feature THE WILD PEAR TREE by famous Turkish director Nuri Bilge Ceylan, a minor co-production with Bosnia and Herzegovina. The co-producer is Mirsad Purivatra with 2006 Production Company, and the film will be screened on 18th May.

Sarajevo Film Festival and the Association of Filmmakers in BiH will also have promotion and will promote BH film within the well-known Cannes Film Market Marché du Film.

In addition to Mirsad Purivatra, the head of the industry Jovan Marjanović, Competition program selector Elma Tataragić, who is also representative of the Association of Filmmakers in BiH, Head of the Meeting Point Cinema Altijana Marić, Head of CineLink and producer in SCCA / Amra Bakšić Čamo, Head of International Relations of the Festival Lejla Karišik, CineLink Coordinator Armin Hadžić , Selector of Student Competition program Asja Krsmanović, and Creative Director Izeta Građević will also be present at Cannes Film Festival as representatives of Sarajevo Film Festival. Sarajevo Academy of Performing Arts will also participate with Department of Production and Management in Culture students, who will work on the joint pavilion of South East Europe countries. Producer Damir Ibrahimović will present Deblokada Production Company, producer Ademir Kenović will attend the Festival in front of Refresh production, directors Jasmila Žbanić and Aida Begić, as well as actor Azir Mustafić, who has played a role in SAUVAGE by Camille Vidal-Naquet, which will be screened in Semaine de la Critique.

Association of Filmmakers in BiH will present Location Guide that was issued in 2017 and BH Film Data Base, that is available at, and will participate in the meetings and events related to European Film Promotion.
