Synopsis:
After an argument at a “high artistic level”, Tonči and Žika with their respective troupes of entertainers embark on a grand tour, the final stop of which is supposed to be the festival in Dubrovnik. There is no chance of coexistence when two troupes are touring the same places. Resourceful Žika manages to trip Tonči at the very beginning when he and his ballerinas appear on stage in Konjic where Tonči and his singing ensemble, including the famous singer Jasmina, were supposed to perform. The two groups continue their travel to Dubrovnik and the trip is filled with intrigues, machinations and budding love affairs. Unexpected car trouble leaves both troupes stranded in a youth camp in Trebinje where new friendship and affinities are disrupted by jealousy. In the end, both troupes reach Dubrovnik to perform in the festival. They are offered to stage a joint performance, but Žika and Tonči refuse to even just consider such a co-production. However, in the end, the performance is held to everyone’s satisfaction.
