Synopsis:
The film is set in Sarajevo during a period in the early 1950s known in former Yugoslavia as the time of Cominform. Although Maho is a respected civil servant, one careless remark to his lover combined with the lover’s jealousy and vindictiveness are enough to land him in prison. Thus starts a series of events that will profoundly change his life and the lives of his family. Maho’s six-year-old son Malik observes and comments on everything that is happening around him, but there are clearly many things the boy cannot comprehend.
