Synopsis:

In Bosnia and Herzegovina four different legal systems exist and function in parallel. The consequence of this is legal insecurity of the citizens. The problem becomes even greater taking in consideration the position of persons convicted of war crimes. For same or similar crimes the differences in imprisonment can even be 20 years depending on the fact which court has lead the trial.
