Synopsis:

On the slopes of the Vlašić mountain in the village Kruševo Brdo, a second 'Burekijada' was held during January 2020. It is a competition in making burek under the bell. This manifestation gathered 30 competitors and hosted over 200 guests who had the pleasure of tasting these specialties. All of the participants have recieved recognitions for preparing burek 'the old-fashioned way' and have taken part in the Game of rings. The premise of the Game of rings is to hide the ring in some kind of a headwear or a sock. The rules are basic – the ring is hidden inside a certain pair of wool socks or a hat. One team is hiding it and the counter-team is supposed to find where the ring is withing the first two seekings. This ancient folk game is widely spread among all ethnicities of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
